that will last until some stupid ass driver not paying attention cuts one of them off and kills a paramedic, people dont respect big ass ambulances as it is, how are they gonna respect a motorcycle paramedic

They should be on ZX10's. Pretty sure they would get there a whole lot quicker...

 

haha +1...i mean when u think about the whole idea of paramedics on bikes its a good one yeah, but theres bound to be something happen to one of them with the way people drive and especially being in the miami dade area, and as soon as someone gets hurt i think the idea will die down

 

I understand where the going with this but try to clear an intersection with a bike...Not gonna happen, its a pain in the ass in a regular ambulance. As I stated before I understand where there going, but they could use a gas powered golf cart (they already have these at some FD's where they have yearly festivals)...Sorry for the incredibly long reply...

 

I dont see any good coming out of paramedics on a bike. What about the equipment?

 

they can get through the bumper to bumper traffic that miami always has a lot easier than an 8 ton ambulance.... I just hope they wrote ambulance in spanish so people there know its not just another bike with strobes!

 

how can you not see anything good??? they will have simple things like airway bag, defib and so forth... they will START treatment and maintain things like airway and so forth so that when the box gets there they throw them on a board and they are gone... saves time AND the petient gets care started sooner...
