I hope the Nissan Motor co exec's d!cks shrink every time a gixxer puts a pass on them on road.

Nissan Motor vs. Nissan Computer
If I only knew. But do you shop at Walmart? They are a PRIME example of putting small business out. But we still shop there. I guess it is how you look at it, really.

....id rather be in the car than in the bike...

i'll never run a bike for the simple fact that losing a little traction or a wobble on a tire'd car will pretty much induce a lane change. im not going to be responsible for being side to side with some guy on a ZX10 when i tag 2nd and kick my car right into him.

Small business has more to worry about with the internet...

But really... There is a huge diff between the pains of a small business competing with Walmart for cosumer sales because Walmart can buy more & sell for less for a profit and Nissan taking a small computer co to court over a domain name... you should really take time to read the link. What Nissan did was ridiculous... I found the link years ago when I was searching for Nissan Motor Co online for more info to buy a car.

its the website lawsuit right? when 99.999% of people type in "Nissan.com" they are looking for the car site...who the fuck is nissan computer? if you have a product called the "vibrato" that was a concrete vibrator for construction, and someone wanted your product when they typed in "Vibrato . com" and a porno site come up, you'd want to change that too.

Absolutely, but the problem is that nissan.com was available for registration & the owner of Nissan Computer's last name is Nissan, so he did a DNS lookup for Nissan & registered the domain name.

Nissan (previously known as Datsun, when Nissan Int & Nissan Comp Co started) apparently came to the internet world a bit late & missed out on registering the DN.

Nissan could have used a diff approach to obtaining the DN. As of today, they still do not have the DN & how much did they spend on legal fees? Nissan legal dept are a bunch of idiots. There was no need to take a small biz to court, the facts are there & clear that all of their accusations on Nissan Comp Co are lame... they wanted to bankrupt the Comp co in the courts... that lacks character IMO.

Doesn't appear that way...

DECEMBER - 1999, Initial Filing.
More then five years after I registered nissan.com, legal action was instituted by Nissan Motor seeking $10,000,000 in damages, and to restrain me from the use of MY family name for business purposes on the Internet.
The only possible way for there to be in the very least phony money proof of losses based on another's profitability is IF they are in the same biz market...

Clearly $10,000,000 in computer sales by Dell would have just as much impact on Nissan Motor Co profits as would Nissan Comp Co...
