I do the sunpass in the pocket thing. Yes it will go through a dark screen cause I won't mount mine in my car windshield - it lookes stupid. I keep it in the arm rest and hold it up to my T-top (which is dark tint) and it goes off - no problems.

I used to keep mine in my jacket pocket and pull it out before the toll because it would not register through the thick ass leather for some reason....

I have a transponder for sale if anyone needs it

I just wasnt sure how well the suction cups would work and how long it would take before my SunPass would shoot off and fall to the ground while I was traveling 70+ mph.

I might just do the velcro trick but further up, off of the tank, or maybe even use some magnets with adhesive on the back and just stick it to my tank. Thanks for all the help...and sarcastic remarks!

Chris

Sunpass works through just about any material except metal. I had mine on the windshield until i flew through it, now it's glued underneath the tail plastic and works fine.
