06 Gsxr Cutting Off While Riding???
i've been into bikes for awhile. i had a 636 when i was going to school. Lost you number an got lost in bradenton. I'm now trying to get rid of my mustang to get another bike now.
looks like yours had a chicken strip did you just lay into it to much
i was on the throttle in the apex and it stalled. slid out and then high sided slid across the strett the rolled.
I've heard about this GSX-R problem, sucks, hope they do a recall...just another reason to add to my list of reasons NOT to own a gsxr again, they're probably dying because they have NO low or mid range power...and they just stall out this guy wanted to see if i could power wheelie his 06 gsxr 600 and that thing was sluggish until 10k rpms! I'm used to the power in the midrange on my 636.
On my 636, when i was at some twisties going through some nice S turns i guess the wheel popped up and came down crooked, and started barslapping then the FI light came on and the bike shut off...luckily i pulled in the clutch and saved it. Waited a minute, and it started back up. I can't imagine a company ignoring such a problem as a stalling concern...thats just fucked up.

There is no problem bringing the front end up and the bike def is not sluggish before 10K. The difference is your gearing is shorter ares is much taller. You shift into second at 65mph we shift at 85mph see the difference. All he has to do to power wheelie is go faster than 40 mph... You roll on the throttle hard and the sluggish 600 as you say will come up. But there is a very easy fix to that a 30.00 front sprocket -1 down
yeah kawi's are great and all but as far as i can remember (sarcasim) kawi had to put out a 636 cc engine just to hang w/ a 599 cc suzuki.
OH SNAP I SAID IT
