Not trying to rain on your parade or anything....

I dont see the point of these besides if it was going to just tip over or you fell at like 2mph or you are a parking lot stunter

Because these thing arent going to save your bike from a 50+mph crash. In fact people have said that their cage made their accident worse... (cage catching causing the bike to flip, or in many cases doing damage to the frame.

The point of them is to protect your frame....

I dont get why people think if they have frame sliders or a cage their plastics will be fine... But yeh either way you will be buying new plastics. So IMO sliders are enough for the street.

Which reminds me..... Mine have been sitting in my garage for the past 3 months. lol

Whats up guys (girls?). Xtreem Motorsports Here. Just wanted to fill everyone in on the RACE RAILZ before you get the wrong impression. they were developed by Powers Stunt Works with the knowledge that slider is a great idea with bad execution. The rails, as you can see in the pics, bolt to 2 locations which allows them to take twice the impact as a normal slider. As for catching and flipping the bike, a 50+ mph crash its just the luck of the draw. The replaceable slider is mushroomed to assist in not grabbing the ground.

Powers Race Railz - $150 until the end of the year
Colors - add $30

The axle spools are designed to compliment the Railz. They will keep the rest of you bike off the ground (rearsets, exhaust, etc). The are CNC machined and installed through your rear axle, NOT bolted to your swingarm. Allowing flexibilty during a crashed and much less of a chance to bend your swingarm.

Axle Spools - $90
Colors - $10

Remember though, a crash is a crash, anything can happen. With these on your bike, a lot less will happen.

by the way i also sell the motovationusa products but you have to be careful with the no cut frame sliders as they are much weaker.

I saw that on ricks bike the slider is mushroomed which I thought would keep it from grabbing the ground and the support from the rail keeping it from pushing back. I will let you know soon enough...

Thanks for the great explanation. How far do the race rails extrude from the fairings? On my 02 R1 I'd drag the stator cover sometimes. I didnt want the rails to interfere with my lean on the 07 750. I havent been on the track yet with the 750, so I dont know how the hard parts will do. It was just a concern I had in the back of my mind. I really like the concept of them though. I think I'll still pass on the swingarm sliders.

in some "x-treem" instances where you guys a really doing some knee dragging the spools may not be the best thing for you. as for extrusion with the railz the average is right round an inch on the bar and another inch for the slider. it varies per bike. but rickys pictures at the beginning of this post give a great reference point.

by the way the blue for the 750 is a near perfect match and i have them in stock if you want to come by and take a look at them.
