Default GSX-R clutch adjustment question

I just bought an '04 750. It seems to need a clutch adjustment. How is this done? I have adjusted it at the lever, but it needs more than that. The reason I think it needs an adjustment is because when I kick it into gear, it jumps forward just a little bit.

this is completely normal for cassette type gearboxes....put the bike in gear, hold in the clutch and rev the motor, if it starts moving then you have a problem....
