Well im on Kawi's site finding some specs on my bike and I decided to check out the 14.

This might be a little flashy to you guys,I kinda like it.But that plastic peice that everyone hates,I kinda dont like it red.. Does any one know anything about this 14?

I am sure that paint scheme will be a big hit w/ all of the people who hang out at the lot on Saturday nights....other than that the bike is the same as any ZX14

 

Why do you make comments about " the lot" alot?

I have been only there once,maybe twice.But I have seen a few members here on TR there,before they knew who I was.

Is it cause you only ride on weekend days and cant come out at night?

To me it basically looks like a meeting spot to go do other things at night.

I cant say I have seen any chromed/stretched bikes out there.But then again,you do go to QSL dont you?

 

I own a bike to ride it...not hang out at the lot and what a bunch of fools do tricks and fall or bring out the police.

If I ever go to QSL, it is with my father who owns a Harley...its father-son bonding time

There was once a time when I used to go to the lot, but I guess I have grown up and matured not only within myself but also my riding

It just seems like that paint-job is ment to inspire sub-18 year-olds...who think a Busa is the the badest thing on two wheels

 

I am not particularly fond of the new flame job graphics becoming popular with the Japanese manufacturers... 1st yamaha, now Kawi & Honda.... I sure hope Suzuki doesn't follow suit, but they may if they prove to be a good selling decision.

The said... the ZX14 is as ugly as the Busa in white... perhaps ugly-er with those pin striped flames on... But hey, to each its own. I just recently found out sport naked may cause some unwanted anatomical side effects... so diff strokes for diff folks... nothing wrong with that.

I went to the lot a few weeks ago with some friends... It had been a while since I was last there. Lots of bikes... I think its ok to check out at least once... but other than that it is boring. If you leave when all those people decide to leave (like I made the mistake of doing) you will be int he middle of a squid fest. I had tons of people doing rice fly by's looking at me trying to show me how fast their bike was... it was crazy, I was wishing I had gone the other way.

I think it amazing that people would drop 10k$ on a bike to go fit in at hang outs. It seems that is what they do...

Of coarse that is just my point of view & opinion. I just prefer to ride outside of the city & make trips to the Mountains. Soon I will be doing track days as well. It's the riding that I enjoy the most from owning a bike...

Howeve I like the new paint sheme on the 14, I saw it in person the other day in Georgia.... like everything it looks better in person than on the internet.


I still wouldnt own one because its too much for what i like doing, cant carve corners on a 600 lb bike.

cause really thats what the lot is about... saying its not is like saying the cars meet at the gandy sonic just to hang out not to race...
