I took the bike out for the 1st time since my accident. I had a friend follow me in his car and I didn't go far, just incase. God it was like I was reborn. I was so excited to be out there. I actually cried. (yeah yeah sappy I know but only those of you who have been hurt and forced to give up riding for a while can relate) For almost 4 months I've had to give up riding. And what was worse is that I had to watch someone else ride my bike so she didn't sit. I'm a little sore and a little stiff, but it was worth it. Now it's time to start to build my strength up so I can go on farther and longer rides. I just gotta take it slow. We'll see tomorrow how I really feel and what my therapist says in the am to see if I did any "real" damage to myself.
