Default Clermont Run - 11/12/06

Let's hit the mountain! This ride will be moderate pace, slow in the straights and quick in the twisties. Please know your bike and your limitations. All riders must wear proper gear or you'll be in the back and we wont wait for you or feel any responsibility for you.....

MEET UP INFO

Hess Station on the Southeast corner of SR54 & Bruce B Downs Blvd (in the Publix plaza along with Sonny's Bar-b-q and Taco Bell.

Meet @ 7:45 am, KSU @ 8:00 am SHARP!!! It will be mob rule as far as lunch, there are 2 fuel stops along the way where you can get store food. (I'd rather ride than eat) If we dont stop for lunch, we should be back to Wesley Chapel by 1:00 or so.

The first part of this run is not too exciting and i wanna get it over with, so lets get started a little early! After that....it's all good! This ride is NOT posted on any other local forums to keep it to a reasonable number of riders, but i dont wanna ride by my lonesome....so c'mon and ride!

oh yeah! i actually erased a little section of my last post where i mentioned that! G___n P____d Road is a personal favorite, the pavement is poor, trees are close to the pavement edges, very technical with some blind turns and very very little traffic....GOOD STUFF!!! it takes some cojones to run that road at speed....but we'll give it another try....

that little wooden bridge was a little scary to come up on at about a 100 when it was wet from the dew still lol

I may try to make this one myself, the meeting spot is crappy for me but fuck it, I'll set my alarm and see what happens.

haha... yep it was an oh shit moment for me too, like brake hard then let off just before and hang on and hope..lol

i'd give it about an 8 too, my 10 being an almost high side off a corner coming back from a north run. i wasn't even going that fast, just spun up on exit while leaned pretty good still. pucker factor = 9.9

I'm definitely in...

Chad... if you think I'll be able to take some action shots I'll bring the camera.

John... hope you can make it man. Looking forward to checking out my fav color zx10 again... ironically I don't see many black... all are green or the yellow orange one...
