Todays run was cursed...I know I shouldnt feel bad, but I do...Im glad Mike is OK and was in good spirits when we unloaded his bike at the house. As stated in the other thread, this could have been much worse. Especially if other factors had come into play (traffic, closer trees, other riders close behind). I've had my close calls and ive been down on the street and all i can say is CRASHING SUCKS. But as we all know its something we live and ride with everytime most of us throw the leg over the bike. I dont want any bullshit about fast street riding VS. track riding, this road is a monster at any damn speed i'm coming to realize and it could happen to any rider. im surpised ive survived it unscathed after numerous high speed runs through there.

Anyhow, i'm bummed out about the whole damn thing, but glad everyone lives to ride another day!

Also, some love to all the riders who where there today, not 1 person left the scene after 2 1/2 hours (they all stayed with Mike and his bike) and we even ate some lunch together after the whole deal....GOOD FUGGIN PEOPLE!!!!!

Indeed... It's comforting to know I am among great human beings. And don't cut yourself short Chad... what you did today to help Mike was awesome. We all felt the responsibility to be there for Mike & not one of us thought of having anything better to do...

We actually made a good day out of a cursed one, cause I'd be lying if I said I still didn't have a good time...

This is the way it should be... and it is... I'm one lucky SOB to be among a great bunch...
