Question Kawasaki Riders

Let me first off say im not here to compare the 600 class. Im here specifically to gather knowledge from everyday riders and put it towards my decision. Ive chosen the bike I want to purchase. (06' 636) Does anyone have knowledge on this particular bike (Im wanting everybit of information I can get on this particular bike) One concearn that has been raised is that I cant help but notice in the past couple weeks ive seen an abundance of Kawi's for sale, particularly 600's. Why is that? Alrite please give me as much information as possible. One rule dont try and sell me ur 636 because I dont have 7500-8500 cash to throw around.

Thanks TR
Joel

what research have you done on other bikes?

what specificly do you want to know about the 636?

why are there a lot of bikes for sale? because its a new model year, dealers want to move 06 bikes, and sell brand new 07 bikes. its always a hot time of year for sales.

you looking to buy new or used?

^^Mine loves to! If you like to stunt, its the best stunt bike platform ever built. Handles great, slipper clutch if you like to race into the corners, awesome braking, great accelleration, and fun to ride, if this is a first bike for you, i'd aim lower...nothing more dissapointing than dropping a brand new shiny $9,000 bike.

+1 Mine was always on one wheel whether sitting down or standing up....and mine was slammed on its balls, IMO the 06' 636's are badass I had one until it was stolen and man I loved that bike.

from personal experience on a 636 i wish i would have bought one, but i wanted something with a little more power an potential but didnt want the weight of a 1000. i mean to me they are the best bang for the buck.

So you made up your mind before you got any information &\or owner thoughts? Isn't that a bit backwards???

One concearn that has been raised is that I cant help but notice in the past couple weeks ive seen an abundance of Kawi's for sale, particularly 600's. Why is that?
600's are prob the best selling bike... we are approaching the winter season... New bikes are coming out soon... Some squid got smoked by a 1000 in a chicken strip contest & is now selling his 600... You should prob ask the people selling why they are selling them, maybe they are the ones that can answer that best, you may find a common problem\reason for the sales or you may not...

It is a great bike... tons of power & great handling.
