Default Hah. Rider down...

Yep well, after only having the bike for a few weeks I crashed it. I was riding east on Fletcher near one of the entrances to USF around 4:15pm, and a girl in a white corolla decides to pull out DIRECTLY in front of me from that entrance. She was coming from the South side of the street, cutting across the center to go Westbound on Fletcher. Well, I definately couldn't go left so I braked hard. That wasn't enough either. My only option was to go right and smash into the saw-horse things that have reflectors, and the scattered gravel that they were standing on. After plowing through one the gravel got my front wheel and I went down. Luckily for me I was wearing all my gear. I remember thinking to myself just before my head smacked the pavement, "Thank god I'm wearing a helmet". The girl DID NOT STOP OR TURN AROUND. I got up, checked myself out, gave the thumbs up to all the people who stopped, and picked up the bike to check the damage.

Nothing too serious. Windshield is smashed along with the bar that supports it, slider, and front fairing are pretty fucked up as well. My rear brake is bent completely back which makes it very difficult to use.

ATGATT boys and girls. I'm just sore. Anyone have suggestions on places to get the repairs done?

1998 GSX-R 750,

Thanks guys. You're probably right mustangman. The sun was sort of goin down behind me so that could have contributed to it.

[EDIT]

Thanks Hotcakes, I'll definately give them a call.
