Rider down on SR 54 near Gun Hwy.
Earlier on my way to Tampa around 7ish pm there was a huge scene on SR 54 and we were all directed to Gun Hwy. There was a shit ton of cop cars and I couldn't see what was going on. I later got a call from someone saying that a biker got killed. yellow bike. I don't have any details. I was just hopping someone has more info than I do. Let me know if you heard anything.

Anybody know the story? Gear helps, but it can't protect you from stupidity of other drivers or yourself. People die with all their gear on all the time...ride smart, watch out...a deer almost jumped out in front of me on 52East last weekend...pretty scary.

I heard some horrific news... He was wasn't wearing a helmet and the top of his head was literally ripped off from the rest of his head. Had he been wearing a helmet I think he might of survived.
