Ive noticed most bikes shift the same with or without the clutch (my RF is a lil rough without it), so I would assume its fine. I've never had any problems on the street or in the dirt.

I went on a North run with you and did a stand up wheelie going past you...seems like you take it easy on your bike but I could be wrong...Learn to ride it before you start trying to race it.
There is a clutch on my bike...and I use it, even when I'm on one wheele switching from 2nd to 3rd to 4th.
