Default Valve Adjustment

Thinking about tackling this little project myself. Just curious how much of a pain its gonna be. And any hints or tips would be appreciated. And im sure the kawi repair manual walks you threw step by step?

thanks mike

shim under bucket proably which will be pretty easy...if u gotta adjust it and the cams come out then MAKE sure its timed right...its easy to time but for some reason a lot of ppl dont do it right...your valves could go right thru your piston if its not timed right...just take your time and youll be fine

I've done many many cars with shim under bucket, and one bike, but its deffinitely not something you want to go into with no experience. If you could download the manual that would help. just take off the tank, airbox valve cover, then follow the spec's to adjust them.

Make sure you adjust the valves when the bike is cold. Let it sit overnight.
