Default 2007 Yamaha R1

Well fellas here I go again breaking the news for you. Here is the 2007 R1....no info released yet but the Yamaha site will have it 10/09. The bike appears more to be an evolution rather then a revolution.

Well if Yamaha is smart I hope the beefed up the mid-range that the current bike is lacking in. Also there are rumors that this motor has 4-valve per cylinder rather then 5-valves that the current R1 has.

Additional rumors to the ones already mentioned is that it is supposed to be physically smaller than the current R1 & that is has fly-bi wire tech.

I like the way it looks... the Swingarm looks straight off Rossi's bike.

It's also suppose to have adjustable velocity stacks like the MV Agusta,Tamburini. It'd going to be a sweet bike, that's for sure.

IMO im disappointed i thought i was gonna see something crazy. atleast thats what all the hype ive been hearing about. And yes im almost positive its a 4 vavle motor with variable valve timing. from what ive heard. Anyway that ride is kinda hot though.

The rear swing arm looks bigger, plus the front air intake is different from the the 06, doesnt look like a whole lot of visible changes, Id like to see some performance specs

if i didnt have a ZX10, i would most likely go with the R1...this new one looks better than ever and might be the first litre bike on the market with some awesome technology (FBW throttle, acutating v stacks), lets see how she performs when it hits the street and track....
