800cc Hyundai pics...
Production based racing is what races on Sunday & sells on Monday... MotoGP helps sell as many bikes as F1 does cars...
Only the misinformed would buy a bike thinking that they are buying a MotoGP based Sport Bike.

I find it very amusing that you are asking me that question...
But I'll play...
To the best of my knowledge... Kawasaki has only managed titles wins in production based racing.
Kawasaki has of yet to produce a competitive program in MotoGP although for a two year old program on a development tire, they are getting better of late.
And they were absent of any effort during the late 80's & 90's in any of the GP 2 stroke classes.
Did I pass? LOL

The closet Kawasaki has come to winning a MotoGP race was at last years China GP, in the rain. Jacque came in second to Rossi. LOL

Does it affect you that much that some random guy 1500 miles away went and paid his own money for a 1000?
Do we really have to fight over who uses the back brake or not?
Do you have to argue over stupid pointless shit on the Internet?

I am pretty certain I can go back far enough in racing history to be able to say "X" factory effort sucks & support it with a particular time in racing history...
But I wont entertain it any longer because this was a thread for the real race fan & the lack of them here shows... sounds like most started watching racing in 2002...
I learned something though... I can have some fun with calling Honda Hyundais... now I've got to come up with as good a nick name for the Other Manufacturers...
Then I may get asked more racing questions...
For the Honda lovers... The best selling sport bike in the US likely is the CBR600, since its inception in the late 80's, no other sportbike has sold as many...
The damn thing never saw the light of day in the top class. None of the CBR's have anything in common with the successfull NSR's & RC's ever produced... Just goes to show you that the majority of the US sportbike consumer is very little in tune with MotoGP... and is the whole reason MotoGP just recently returned to the states... which I bet is when most here started watching...
Enjoy the pics... can't wait for next year to start already... Honda hasn't done as well since they lost Rossi... so make sure the skills match the bike or an experienced rider will likely show you how much riding skill the Honda got you with your purchase...

NSR 500s were some badass machines....I hope you were not directing that comment about being into racing since 2002...I came out my mother's womb on a motorcycle
