Default A Bulls*it Drop

Okay, im kind of pissed off right now. Okay, me and frankie figs were out riding tonight and we're doing some backroads and such enjoying the nice weather. I decide to pull in to this church on the side of the road to see where he wants to go next. We're pulling in to the parking lot and i go left. Front wheel slips out. Bike down. Look back, fucking sand on the ground. Yeah it's a bullshit fall and im pissed.

Okay, point of this thread is, how many of you have had bullshit falls like this and can you count how many you've had? I'm seriously thinking about selling the RC51 because it seems like this thing is cursed, or maybe i suck at riding. Just give me some info, i'm about to hang up the hat here because im pissed off and sick of dealing with these bullshit falls that seemingly only happen to me.

Guessing you're ok, which is good, but cosmetic damage always sucks. Damn anti-motorcycle Pinellas County.

Its part of riding, never happen to me but its something we have to expect living in Florida with all the rain most summer days along with the sand for soil. You should always keep in mind when its windy you will have more sand on the roads and parking lots than normal, plus all the washouts we get after a thunderstorm. A few years ago I left a club in my firebird, was going about 70 MPH coming up on some S curves, little did I know that it rained in that area earlier that day which wased a bunch of sand onto the road in those S curves, my car spun around 3 complete 360's, I almost shit my pants. I was just glad I wasnt on a bike.

ive had one bullshit drop but it wasnt due to sand or gravel.

exactly one month after i got my bike i dropped it due to my dunslops not wanting to grip at all because of the cold weather i suppose. the damage was extremely minor but it kinda scared me how the bike just went out from under me for no apparent reason.

if you do sell her, how much would you be looking for?

as gay as i may look and as much flak as i catch from others if i've never riden on it before or havent been on that section in a while i ride like i'm on ice!!!!! The only time i lay it in the corners is where i know cars are always passing cause chances are they've swept away all the sand and shit.

Well bro, you don't truely own your bike until you drop it. I have been owned by dirt like that before. I was turning around in a culdesac and there was a patch of loose gravel, as soon as my front tire hit it the tire slid to the side about 6 inches. I luckily wasn't going but maybe 5mph and was able to catch it before it bit the pavement. Don't sell your bike man, it happens to everyone and I have been riding for years. I have seen people drop their bike while sitting on it.

It was pretty gay how you went down, but at least nothing major happened. You need to stop being such a pissed off mother fucker all the time. If you sell your bike I'll kick you in the balls!!!
