Jon....you are gettimg me all wrong....the RC51 is still a awesome bike...I wish I could have both, but in reality I can't. I just could not believe how much better that RC made me as a rider.
Now I wanted something I would not have to work so hard to ride on.....Plus its alway great to get a new bike. The longest I have ever held on to a bike is 1 1/2 years. Not because I don't ride them, just the opposite I ride the hell out of them. So far I am happy with my decision, byt I still will miss my RC51, just like I miss my 03 600RR, or my 02 F4I. One thing remains the same...I love Hondas

Oh I was faster on my RC51 then my 04 1000RR, but this new 06 1000RR is really different even though it looks very similar.
Trust me the refining changes that Honda made to the bike are just incredible. Plus this is the 1st bike that I ever had Chad at Kinetics set up just for me (suspension wise).

I know exactly what Joe is talking about because I used to bleed honda red, which I still love but just wanted to try something new!! Oh and wow is this new bike fast!!! lol
