99 ninja
yo i just bought this 99 ex-500 ninja, no owners manual, i cant figure out if the tank on the right is for oil, a wet clutch, or both. does anyone with a similar ninja know how to change oil?
I have one of these great machines
There isnt an oil tank on the bike. I'm going to assume you're talking about the coolant tank. Take a pic of it if you can.

its on the right side of bike, theres a cap w/ no dipstick and the clutch cable comes out of it, i assumed it was a wet clutch, theres also a small coolant tank infront of the gas tank. was wondering if anyone knows how to maintain the oil in it. (just bought bike, no manual)
Yo man....I think...and this is hard to do without pics lol
But im pretty darn sure that where you put oil in the bike homie...
There should be a window somewhere near that for the oil level.

The "tank" you're talking about is the clutch cover, which is also the engine cover. Thats where you fill the oil, and change the clutch.
That is correct.

make sure your bike is completely upright to verify the correct oil level in the bike, not leaning on the kickstand. Use a good motorcycle oil if you want your engine to last, and stay on top of the maintenance.
