I want a jacket that will provide skid protection and also have good ventilation in the heat. It also has to be green. Does anyone in TB have store where I can try some on before I buy? Thanks for any help.

haha...shit pat...what are you doing with a bike? id ask if the cobra wasnt fast enough for ya, but somehow i really really doubt thats the case, if it were, youd have bought a stretched/sprayed/boosted/big block busa.

but anywho, Cycle Gear on US19, about 5 miles from the Gandy Blvd exit of 275.

basically go left onto gandy, then left to US19 (under the overpass) and its right on the left the first place you can turn.

There's another Cycle Gear on the south west corner of Fletcher and 41. I have a Frank Thomas leather jacket that I bought from them. It's perforated and at speed is nearly as cool as my mesh jacket. It also zips to a pair of leather pants too for track duty. Certainly not the best that money can buy, but very good for the price.

yea, i've got the same FT stuff, think its the striker jacket/pants. and like he said, at speed, it feels fine in the heat. but even a mesh jacket will get you hot sitting at a light with the heat from the cars and the road

Thanks, Kenny. Do you know if they sell Joe Rocket? BTW the Cobra will crush the bike. I can't believe how much harder the snake pulls.
