Default Anyone been to Jennings GP?

I'm heading up there Sunday for a track day that my uncle invited me up for. I won't be riding (never been past 20mph on a bike) and I was just wondering if anyone has been there before as a rider?

Reason I'm asking is because I'm going to be shooting a ton of pics there and wanted to get an idea of what turns were your favorite, etc. If all goes well, he'll be buying a bunch of my shots for marketing material for Nature Coast Motorsports as well as passing along my info to the other riders out there .

I really want a bike but I just blew $3k on camera gear and have a baby on the way...d'oh

You really can't see much of the track as a spectator which sucks. You'll see riders going through the 9/10/11/12 combo and then again coming down the front straight going into turn 1.

Maybe you can get permission to shoot from inside the track but i don't know.

I'll probably swing a press pass and get in a little bit more than just a spectator.

In that case, check out turns 7/8/9 in the back twisty section. Some good kneedragging there and 75% of the wrecks happen back there too. Just make sure you are on the inside of the corner.

A buddy and I will be there this weekend. I'll be on an '03 Suzuki SV1000S #404, and my friend rides an '01 GSXR 1000 #419. See you there.

The turns mentioned above are where I've seen other photographers set up. You could probably safely setup in turns 1 and 2 as weel, but it'd be less exciting on that end of the track for sure.

Ill be there Sunday as well. In my opinion the inside of turn 13 might be the best spot for action shots. Its a highspeed corner with a lot of lean angle. thats where most of my passing gets done.
