damn i hope it wasnt doing the wire jump mod, if so ud be the first one ever to have the problem. make sure u take it off before you get it to the dealership or theyll void your warranty. FYI

at the dealership i work at, somebody brings their car in, its 1hr labor for us to check it out, if we find the problem is something under warranty, then they don't have to pay for the 1hr...and the tech just collects time from warranty pay. I'm pretty sure thats what they want, if not...go to another dealership! Sucks man, where do you go for service?

 

Ive only taken in the bike for one service.
I have done the other oil changes and misc bullshit thats needed.

After paying $115. for the first 600 mile service.When oil and filter is no more than $30.Then the fuckin tech who worked on my bike tells me my coolant was a little low.So I asked him whats involved in me to top off the radiator.He tells me I had to take the gas tank off.When later I found out I only have to take off a few plastics and nothing about the tank.

I feel like I got ripped off.

 

thats what a written estimate is for...i believe if they dont give you one that you sign off on, then they are SOL, and any work over 100 dollars requires an estimate, meaning they cant put a mechanics lein on the bike if they all of a sudden feel like wanting 500 dollars for what you thought would be a 100 dollar job. but please verify this, i do not know the finer details of the estimates, but i know they are mandatory nowadays for "consumer protection"

Like I was saying earlier.I have trucks at my job with electric lift gates,I can put the bike on that then into the pick up from there.But then getting it off at the dealership is one thing.But someone told me the dealership should let me use thier ramps.
