Default Chain Help......

hey guys well i got a couple of questions well i got some extentions from (Road Rage) with the whole nine yards....love the look but last night on the way to ybor to chill the chain broke off cracked the water pump (i think) leaking water everywhere,and the clutch don't work....lucky i didn't fall with my girl and all...well just wanted t know what causes that and where do i get new chain and sprockets thanks hope you guys can help me out

If installed correctly, a good set of extensions are rock solid.
If not installed correctly, you could have problems.

Chain & sprockets are relatively inexpensive and easy to replace.
Your water pump and engine cases are another story all together.

Glad you two did not go down.
Be sure to have everything checked out before getting back on the road.

What area of town are you in?
There are a few really good shops that I could recommend as needed.

I am in tampa around waters and dale mabry well i only had the extentions on for about two weeks or so and the whole install was done by a seductive cycle member everything seemed right no wierd noises and it rode nice but i know nothing bout bikes thanks....and plus to be honest i am only asking to see what causes that but my gsxr was stolen saturday morning

Like JDR said earlier... improper chain maintenance will also do it.
I have been known to break a chain or two myself.... it happens.

hey i think that everything was done right but hey its just my luck but thanks for the info guys seductive cycles hope to ride soon i hear you guys are a good group to ride with well thanks again and RIP gsxr600
