Default Pics of my naked Kaw

The bike is a 02 ZRX 1200R and is completely stock with 1564 miles on the clock.
It has been over 20 years since I last rode a bike.
I bought a new, at that time, 1983 GS 1100S Katana.

I cannot wait to ride this thing legally.

I will say, from the few miles I've ridden, technology has sure come a long way.
Modern brakes are amazing.

Thanks.

I was looking for a low mile ZRX that was stock. This one popped up in Pittsburg, and I drove up and got it. Took her for a quick spin and the exhaust still has that new smell when you shut it off. It is like having a new bike, I love it.

Love those bikes... I had a friend with all sorts of Muzzy engine mods done to his 1200 cranking 150hp to the rear tire... that thing was awesome.

Go your Lawson replica lid ready??? Enjoy that beast

As a kid I wanted a KZ 1000R, AKA Eddie Lawson replica. I used to dream about that bike in HS back in 81 or so. Here is a pic of the ELR which was the inspiration for the ZRX. I think this one is a 82.

Then I saw the first ZRX 1100 in 99 and I started dreaming again. I'm glad my better half finally gave up on saying no. It only took 8 years.

Thanks, I haven't done a thing to it. The chain has never even been lubed. It just sat in a 50 somthing guys garage for 4 years. The tires are still like new. It's as close to a new bike as you could possibly find.

Bet that makes the deal a bit sweeter then, that is just awesome. Glad the wife let you have a bit of fun. I couldn't live with my wife if she didn't share in this hobby.
