Down in the front or up in the rear lowers gearing, this reduces top speed and will typicaly cause you to shift more frequently. Wheelies will be easier to come by in higher gears.
Up in front or down in the rear wil raise your gearing resulting in higher theoretical top speed and you'll be typically slower off the line.

gearing will all depend on what you are trying to accomplish.
if you are street riding looking for that little extra umph...you can do -1/+1-2
track riding will all depend on what track you are at and you will want to keep a hand full of sprockets to change out to suit your lap times and track.
stunting will depend on whether you want to learn on stock gears or go +15 in the rear or whatever will help you accomplish your goal.

Whatever you do.... do NOT use the SEARCH button

It's cheap and easy.... do the -1 / +2 thing... why not?

One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

what are you riding? if i remeber correctly aren't you on a f4?
i currently have -1in front and +3 in back on my f4. likes too wheelie alot and for my hard launchs even with it stapped is hard to keep it down. i am going back to -1/+1.

Really? I should have the -1, +3 set-up as soon as it arrives to me. You don't like the wheelies?
What, doesn't everyone run 18 / 38 gearing?
