FZR's have bastard transmission, I had total failure with mine 1month after I got it *11,200miles on it). The transmission has since been redone and it shifts better and smoother then my buddies 97zx7r 9,000miles <-superclunkbox.

R1's are so fun. My buddy has an 04 with 50k miles on it, not one problem with it. he has +3 in the rear and down1 in the front...soooo much torque it's rediculous, the first time i got on it, the front wheel picked up about 8" off the ground and it hit the powerband and the rear tire smoked while the front wheel was still up. REDICULOUS! handles awesome too...i wish i rode that before i bought my 636, but i'm happy.
