does anyone know if they usually run smaller or larger than HJC?? i checked out the sizing chart and it says i should wear an XL in that helmet but i wear a Large in HJC... so i was just looking for an opinion from someone with some personal knowledge..

They definitely run smaller... I am a medium Arai Corsair & Shoei X11, but a Large on KBC...

I have 3 KBC VR2... Repsol, Gunslinger & Dragon Gun Metal.

I live in Spring Hill too... You should hook up with Brandon, Chris & I on an evening ride.

 

thanks for the info.. yea a ride one night would be cool... only problem is i work mostly nights... restaurants suck but possibly on Friday the 18th i might be going out riding with some ppl we should all meet up... how do you like the KBC helmets???

Most important thing with a helmet is fit... last thing you want if for that thing to be moving around your head at speed or coming off when you need it in a fall...

I highly recommend that you go try one on at a local shop. Only you can say if it is comfortable & fit is good on your head.

I like my Helmets, the reason why I have 3.

Where do you guys go when you ride?

 

we havent gone anywhere... i usually ride by myself.... my friend is getting his bike this week and my other friend i met at the msf course calls me every friday to go out riding but i am always working fridays.. so i am going on vacation this coming up week.. yea i will have to take a ride down to sky motorsports cuz they carry a few kbc helmets and try them on there...

I use to have a large HJC, I got an XL KBC helmet and it was a little bit too big. I would say they are very close to the same sizing in my experiences only.

 

racerraul - im probably gonna head down to sky tomorrow morning around 10 am because i have to work at 12... and my work schedule is mainly thursday thru sunday all doubles.... but next week to took a vacation time from wednesday til saturday that is why im trying to plan a friday night ride

FC3- thanks... i am gonna go try some on just to make sure before i order this one.... i measured my head and according to the sizing charts it says i should wear an XL for KBC but a large for HJC so i will just make sure by trying them on first at a dealer then ordering online...
