Its awesome to see Russell looking well after his carreer ending injury at Daytona. Russell was the clear favorite to win that race (4 time Daytona 200 winner), and on the Ducati, the only man thought capable of breaking the Daytona curse on the Ducs...

Turns out the curse reared its ugly head & damn near too Russells life with it...

And yeah... Rossi is a freak!!!

BTW... Russell is also known as Mr Daytona... (3 Wins on the Kawasaki, 1 Win on the Yamaha & a 2nd place on the Suzuki) all four of his wins were on Superbikes. Unless the AMA brings Superbikes back to the 200... Russells record will continue to Stand...

Duhamel tied it with an FX win & virtually no competition in the class...
