Question R6 Fork Question

Hey i recently laid my 2005 r6 down and unforuntaly bent the forks barely enough to tell. Is it possiable to get them bent back? The bend is maybe the width of a quarter. Hardly any bend to them. If not inverted forks are kinda hard to find but its easy on ebay. I was wondering if it was possiable to put reg. forks on a 2005 r6. The 2005 r6 forks come inverted but reg. front end suspension seems like a cheaper route to go. So my question is can i bend them back? if not can i throw reg. forks on there rather than inverted. THANKS!!

Damn, Yamaha didnt use inverted forks til 05. If you get upper and lower triple clamps and the 0?-04 forks you SHOULD be able to swap it. They wouldnt change the R6 in 05 for the forks and then totally redesign it in 06, BUT they may have. Look on other forums also in case someone here cant give you a 100% positive answer.

why would you do that? just buy the 05 fork because most likely, you will have to buy an 03-04 triple tree and a bunch of other parts to get the other fork to work
