Would anyone be up for this?
Would anyone be up for this?
As per our phone conversation this morning, here is a copy of the email
that Lt. Col Deem (Reserves) sent to me.
Will writes:
Lt. Col Deem: The first wave of troops is coming home this Sunday. They
are leaving early in the morning from Ft. Stewart, GA, and will arrive at the
Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC) in Pinellas Park, FL between 1200 and
1400. Don't have a better handle than that. If anyone is interested, it
would be nice to have people waving American Flags starting at the
intersection of Grand Ave and Gandy. Grand Ave is the first traffic light
East of U.S. 19. It curves around to the right, and comes to the ARFC.
Pass this on to any biker groups you know. I'll be out there in civies
(hard to ride in my class A's) with flag in hand. P.S. we buried one of our
soldiers today, who was KIA in Afghanistan, that's why I wasn't at QSL
last night (viewing and visitation). The remaining soldiers will be coming home
in approximately 5 day intervals. I'll post more when available.

I'd be there with my bike and flag flying like a cape but i'm also in the military and have 72 hrs of duty coming up this weekend, sorry guys
The thought is more important then the action in my opinion , because half of the civilized world takes for granted the sacrifices men and women like your self make for us who go about our every day lives as if nothings wrong...
sounds like a good thing to do...wish i didnt have to work so much
