have an 05 cbr 600, i wrote it sat got home cleaned it and yesterday i went to ride but it kept turning off i could ride but it it turns off can someone help me please thank you.

does it run like shit?
when it turns off does ALL power go with it (ie, guages, FI lights, speedo?)
flip the kill switch several times to see if it is BETWEEN on/off.

it turns off in 1st gear but it does not loose power.

then tell me how you are riding it?

Dude be SPECIFIC! Run us through the steps, what you hear, etc up to the point it turns off. Debugging your problem is like throwing a wrench at the bike (literally) and hoping the wrench hitting it will fix something.
