Rider Down - LogicalRetard (Bart)
i dont know the specifics exactly, i was told it happened near 28th. he lost control somehow and hit his head pretty good on a curb. from what i understand he is in ICU at the moment but in stable condition in an induced coma. Matt(thePilot) was with him, so whenever he gets on he can post up the details. just keep him in your thoughts please.

Ugh... I'm really getting sick and tired of having to repeat the same shit over and over to everyone to everyone about the condition of the person in the hospital. Especially with Jason 3 weeks ago. I'm having to do this all over again. Fucking SUCKS!
Bart got two new pilot powers on, and once he had about 40-50 miles or so on them he decided to go somewhere that there were some curves that he could lean it over a little bit more.... Nothing crazy here as all we had on was a helmet, gloves, tshirt, shorts, sneakers. (Bla bla bla ATGATT I know as well as he does. It was our own personal choice to do so let's just leave it at that.) Anyway there are some rather untravelled curvy roads to the side of 28th St. We went through one pass, got to the end and was very excited at the fact that his bike was handling very nicely due to the new tires. We went back through the same pass and I got to the stop sign at the end, looked back and he had already finished sliding and wrecking on the last left curve. What looks like what happened was he lowsided the left curve cause he went to far over on the new tires and it washed out from under him and there is a massive hit on the back end of the helmet where he hit the curb with his head (Guaranteed DOA without the helmet for all you non helmet riders who don't wear helmets cause you're going to "take it easy") I ran up to him and he was out cold with the bike on top of his legs, his body facing down. I got the bike off of him. Never responded to me so I called 911. As I began hearing the sirens he opened his eyes and became semi conscious, not responding to me still, however, attempting to get up, but passed back out. The whole time he was slipping in and out of consciousness, everytime he came back to that semiconscious state, he was resisting and fighting everyone and screaming and just like that he passed back out. It was a horrible thing to experience. And then there was the asshole fucking cop which I will make a new thread for cause that's a whole thread in itself right there.
As of right now, Bart is in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit where he is hooked up to every machine imaginable right now. He's in a medically induced coma because if they don't keep him in one he begins to resist and fight everyone/everything and they need him to not move at all so they have him in the coma. Today they backed off some of the medications a little also. Also when they had him out of the coma, even though he was unconscious or whatever, eyes closed, he was acknowledging his parents by squeezing their hands. That was as of this afternoon. While Bart IS in serious condition right now, comparing they're description of Bart, to the description they had for Jason (who ended up dying), it sounds like Bart is in better shape than Jason and will recover.
So... Do what you guys do. Pray. Best wishes. Your thoughts. He needs it right now. I'm sure he will recover though!

bart's a good guy... one of the last people i ever thought I'd be getting THE phone call about...
hoping he makes a full recovery from this.. and matt i know its hard dealing with all this shit but thanks for the call. I'm sure he will be glad you were the one there when he went down. you are handling all this better than most would.
i didn't make a rider down thread about it so you wouldn't have to deal with the tr crap on top of all the phone calls.
