Default NEEDED!!! cylinder head 82 gpz 550!!!

O.k. what i need is a cylinder head off of a kawasaki 1982 gpz 550. The head has to be off of this model, of this year. I know that it is a long shot but the one I got was running Moriwaki cams, and busted the bolts in the head. If anyone knows where i can find one, or if you have one, let me know. I've been to all the salvage yards, both of the ones next to the stadium, and Mauro's in floral city and I've had no luck. Any other salvage yards? Or maybe a cylinder head would be great help. Thanks

Have had both KZ550 and GPz550, pretty sure we swapped the heads on an 82 from KZ to GPz, check on those too. Check the web for slavage yards, they are all tied together and can do salvage yard search.

if the heads cc out the same then the compression will not be effected. the pistons could have been different or the head or base gaskets could be diffrent to ge more compression for the GPZ.

Jacks Salvage 407-302-3311 They seem like pretty good guys that are willing to help a brotha out. They located a part for me in a different state. Good luck!
