Thumbs up Thanks vipersrt10 !

Thanks for invitinmg me out to the motocross track today.

I learned a lot and had a blast in the process.

The bike is all cleaned up... I'll take care of the air filter later.

Just took a handful of Advil... and I'm bout to passout hard.

Wish you would have seen my wipe-out

Gonna be feelin it tomorrow

Please pass my thanks on to Steve as well.

No pics.... but for your own entertainment value... here my interpretation

It is the easiest jump on the track, a table top.
I was not trying to hit the jump like Alex and Steve (who would land on the back side aka: sweet spot).
I was practicing the basics.
I went off the lip with to much throttle and failed to control the bike in the air.
As I landed I was basically in a 12 o'clock position.... and leaning to the right.
I held on for a second, but ended up getting launched off the back and down the side of the table top.
The dirt was nice and moist so it cushioned my fall.

Didn't hurt the bike at all... and I was more embarrassed than anything.

Alex did not have the pleasure of witnessing that one.
Steve however, saw the whole thing.

I had a few other less than ideal landings... some standing straight up on the rear.... some landing on the front.

It was a great pportunity for me to work on the basics without any time constraints or pressure (man.... that junk is exhausting...).
Both Alex and Steve provided valuable input (those two can ride!).

I really owe it to Steve and Alex.... thanks again!

awsomeness. riding with people who are faster and trying to follow their lines will make you faster as well.

Riding a track and trying to go balls out is a whole different story than putting around croom eh? Motocross is the second most physically active sport, second to soccer.

Let there be NO mistake.... I was NOT trying to go balls out and keep up with those two

I would be laid up in a hospital bed if that were the case

But I agree.... I learned a lot and will definately continue to improve riding with these guys.
