Do mods for a reason. If you dont have a problem with the way the rear brake functions, then dont change it.

since most of your braking power is in the front i would only think it would be ricer if you replaced the rear....

I've had issues in the past with my rear rotor over heating so I replaced it with a wave rotor. No more over heating issues.

well either way, mods to any braking is better than cosmetic mods... how about that

everything I've read says the wave rotors are just a way to reduce weight not for cooling. isn't size and cross drilling more importent? shouldn't they help turn in more than anything?

and how the hell did you over heat a back brake?

I think the over heating was more due to the brake fluid then the rotor, but after spending $150 on a rotor and $12 on a jug of brake fluid, I like to say it's the rotor that made the difference. LOL It makes me feel better. But your right, they are suppose to be lighter for better turn it, but because it's the rear wheel you dont notice the weight savings as much. The design of the wave rotor is also "suppose" to disapate heat better.

Just regular riding and working the rear brake cause the over heating. More so at Pointcienna then anywhere else.
