that sucks - I have a cycle, and its super embarassing when you can't get your foot out of the straps - clip ons can be just as much of a PITA.
I've come to find that motorcyclists are a much more sociable, and outgoing community - when I pedal, no one drops a hand, and never has a moment to talk about their bike or what they have, or are going to do to it.

Harleys , god they annoy me , esp in ybor , they hafta rev like 30 times before they leave the parking lot... A friend of mine yelled last week "Did it start , i cant hear it"... i just started cracking up...and even funnier , some guy busted ass on a 10 speed near my work , i just happened to see it , him falling off the edge of the side walk into the road... but even better , it had one of those little electric motors , so he was doing like 20-25mph when he learned how to fall....
