the fly by wire.... i was unaware of this. is it basically just electronic throttle, from what i gather from that read. is it just as responsive?

 

A lot of cars today are fly by wire

 

the 06 r6's are fly by wire from what i'm told.


it can be way better than a normal cable but only if the programing is right

 

how could it be much better? i mean they accomplish the same thing right? what are the advantages

 

i read a whole list of them somewhere, most were just to change the response depending up what rpm band your in and if tied into a lean angle sensor it can soften it up when leaned wayy over on the tire. make it nicer to match revs during down shifts..
