Default Ride to cape canaveral to watch launch

I saw on the news that Nasa is going to be launching discovery sometime between july 1 -19. Thought it would be a cool if we did a run to cape canaveral. Watched the launch and fuck around for a bit.

I know its a few weeks away and theres not exact date yet.
But just throwing out an idea.

If I get some tires and other stuff done to the bike by then, I'd be up for it.

Hey look at that. Finally a chance for you to do what you originally bought your bike for.

Yeah, and the first time for that bike will probably be the last time, too.

I've always wanted to get over for a launch but i don't think my back would hold out for that long on the interstate.

+1 on the interstate thing, if we can get some sort of route planned out - I'm up for getting lost and finding our way there.......I'll be out of state for the first week in july though.....got to see the 4th Boston style. : )

Well stops are a must. Its a few hour ride im sure. Well once the time gets closer and I find out an exact launch date. We'll all plan a route. I've never seen a launch either. If i read right this is the first shuttle launch since 2003, so who knows when the next one might be.
