Default Local bike shops...

I'm looking at getting a helmet and gloves before I take the MSF course. I was looking at the Z1R ZRP-1 helmet since it got the highest ratings when motorcyclist magazine did its test, and the Alpinestar S-MX 2 Air Carbon Glove. Are there any shops locally that I can go and try these on to see what size fits me?

i highly suggest buying out of state for anything over $100 because you dont pay for sales tax... try www.ridersinc.com they are the best online store i have ever done business with, and they have everything in stock at the lowest prices. since they might not have the exact helmet and gloves you are looking for in the local shops around here, try other models of the same brand to see what fits and then do your price shopping.

ill spend the extra 15-20 bucks to have what i need here and now...and since cyclegear has a 30day exchange on helmets..id recommend keeping the business in town.

Yeah I'm planning on trying on to see what fits me and then price shopping. I mean shit the helmet costs only $89 online so I'm not expecting much variance of price on that...some of the brand name ish though places seem to like to mark up.
