Default Opinions on full leathers

myself and a couple others i believe wear full leathers..jackets pants boots the whole gimmick...i see the AMA guys slide pretty good...rarely do i see tumbling...but for a street situation i have to wonder if sliding would be the best thing...i know you could have a little more control of where you may end up going but at the same time, it doesnt seem like you would bleed speed off as quick...just wanting to hear some thoughts/opinions on this.

I dont know about tumbling but I would like to get some leathers when I start riding. Some people may say leathers are expencive but they are cheaper than a skin graph.

tumbling means your floping around smacking body parts on the ground. most likley breaking bones or twisting things in way you shouldn't.

Street Riding as in Brooksville,U should be concern with 'Impact' injurys!.....Body Armor is a Wise Investment or a Water Ski Vest

Allow the energy to dissipate through you.
Do not try to stop.

If you are aware enough to crash and be in control of your body, good for you.
Sliding on padded areas is the ticket.

However, my guess is that unlike track racers, street riders are not mentally prepared for on off.

Be Safe, Think Ahead, Have an Out.
