Guys, it's 8:02am. I just woke up. I might be running 10 minutes late, if you could wait for me, I would really appreciate it. I'm about 30 minutes away, and I gotta fuel up.

Thanks guys.

Today was an awesome, awesome, awesome ride! I really enjoyed it. The only thing that sucked was those damn love bugs, we had to pull over, just to windex our screens.

Thanks John for setting up the ride, and thanks to everyone that came out. It was nice meeting everyone. Hope to do it again sometime soon!

Ride safe.

The bugs were brutal, but it did not put a damper on our fun today.

Thanks jdr_racer for setting up and leading the ride.... Great Job!

My biggest concern was fatigue towards the end of the ride... I was smokin in the leathers... my have to go squid-style with shorts, sunglasses & sandals next time.

Here's a few pics from today:

Shade was at a premium today.... it was HOT!

Good picture's Cecil. Man today was so awesome, I feel like doing it again. BUT I just washed my bike, and I know those love bugs will ambush me again.

Cecil, next time I'll have to try out the 1000. I mean it's not always THAT great to be the fastest, ALL the time.

I know I'm post whoring this thread up. But next time I think we need someone to stand on the side of the road on a nice banked corner, and take some snap photos of us on our 60 degree lean angles. I think that would be an awesome turn out.

Man it was a great ride today. Usually I get a little pissed with all of the love bugs, but because we had such a great group and the roads were great it put a smile on everyone's face. This is exactly the kind of ride that can be had when everyone rides within their abilities.

Even though some say the North runs are bad ideas....... Today shows that they are perfect!!!
