Getting a title??
Has anyone bought a bike without a title before? I was told to go to a title company and they can get one. I looked up a few online and their sites talked about real estate? I've never dealt with anything like this before so I need help.
Thanks,
Frankie
Thanks,
Frankie

The owner can file for a lost/duplicate title with the DMV...
IF you already bought the bike, I believe there is a way for you to file for a lost/duplicate title as long as you have a bill of sale with the correct info on it showing who the owner was and you being the current owner.

Just grind off the distingusing numbers, forget about the tag, and put a black-out switch on her and ride it like you stole it.
I'm kidding.... yes, I believe you can get a duplicate title from the DMV.
If the bike has a CoD (Certificate of Destruction), not sure what you can do to make it streetable.
Good luck.
Please post up the process when you get it figured out.
