Default Insurance...

Wow so i got a quote from progressive and they wanted 150.00 a month for bottom basic insurance....wtf. Anyone know of another cheap but good insurance company (I know it's an oxymoron)
I have a good driving record 1 accident in the past 5 years and i was not at fault. The other ticket was a careless driving about a year and a half ago. I have AWESOME credit.

your insurance cost can be a combo of many things you need to provide way more info than just they want 150 a month. What bike, what coverages general area you live in, will it be garaged ect.... If you are being quoted 150 a month then you are either in a high risk area or your bike you have a suzuki so welcome to the most stolen bike in america

I pay under a hundy a month, with full coverage and a ticket per year since being licensed through progressive. Motorcycle insurance is very dependant on your credit score too though I've found out (so my 750+ score hooks my ass up). I may drive fast, but I love credit - using and paying. : )

i was searching through and getting quotes online on 03 and 04 gsxr 600s..thats what i was planning on getting..being 20 and being in one accident not my fault..the lowest i was quoted was $83 a month through allstate..thats with full coverage..and the bike being financed..idk how it was soo cheap..but it brightened up my day knowing if i take out a loan on a bike it wont cost an ass load..i was always told if you finance a bike its hella more on ins. than if you own it outright...worth checking out..
