My first race and first wheelie
Anyway Thursday night around 930 pm, in Hudson I pulled to the hudson Blvd traffic light and a gixxer '05 1000 or 06 750 or 1000 pulled up next to me. We took off at the light and I went all the way to 6th gear and bam he takes off on me I try and downshift and I couldnt get it past 5th. < me being a dumb ass tryign to hard too fast! Anyway being stupid and taking my bike to 123 mph isn't the brightess thing to do on 19. Anyway we meet up at little and 19 going north bound toward home in Spring Hill light turns green I take off 1, 2, and I left my visor up so i kept tryng to put it down while i was racing and i couldn't then around 93 mph I feel as if I'm taking off on a runway! I'm like WOW You know one wheel off the ground!!! So I lean over the front more let off of the gas slightly and the bike comes down, and I let him pass at 100 as I put my visor down, anyway he prolly would have passed me regardless me being a 06 600... At top, the most awesome feeling in the world then later that night I do my first burn out!! ANyway not bad for a first time ryder and only riding barley week and half.. nite people

How much do you weigh?, I took my bike up to 80 in first, and 110 in second and it wasn't even close to picking up the front tire on me - and I don't think that I'm all that big coming in at about 170/and 70".
Glad you had a good time, use your best judgement though - sometimes its good - sometimes it's not. : )

I hope we dont have to add you (or anyone else here) on the rider down list.

few things to add to this,
1- hope you are wearing all your gear, all the time
2- im not trying to be a dick, but you are NOT experienced enough to be doing those kind of speeds on a public road, specially 19, all it takes is a milli second for a car to pull out. you and a 375 lb bike vs. 2 tons of steel? think about it
3- go out on a twisties ride on a sunday in the middle of no where and get used to the bike, but most of all- have fun and be safe. dont ride beyond your capabilities
hate to sound like your dad, but i dont want to read about you in a rider down thread
