Default What are you using for a Taglight

Ok so i bought my 2nd 636 and thought i'd get the taillight integrator kit...so basically i paid $49.99 for this little circuit board with a bunch of wires comming out of it. If you're not familiar with that, it basically makes half the taillight flash when you have a blinker on...a type of fender eliminator, anyways, that didn't work right because the taillights on the 06 636 are one circuit board and all the led's are either on/off...not half and half...

ANYWAYS... now i ghetto rigged a bracket for my temp tag (still havent gotten the metal one in) and im trying to figure out what to do for a light...i put this little 12v led down there, and it shorted right away. just looking for some ideas.

One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

I bought the bolts also, except these bolts are "sliced" out on the SIDE of the bolt, therefore shooting the light sideways, onto the tag. I got them at cycle gear for an ass raping price of 26 dollars.

the led most likely shorted out immediatly b/c you didn't put a resistor in the circuit. go to radio shack and either get a 0-10K potentiometer or a 1K, 2.2K and 5K resistor and play around w/ them till u get the brightness u want. they also sell chrome led holders that you could drill into your undertray or undertail
