Upper Clip Stolen In Port Richie...please Read
While at my buddies house around 12:00 midnight on thursday night (while my buddy and I were in his garage with the bike parked on the other side of the door not 6 feet away) someone walked up unbolted the entire front clip, headlight cables etc and took off. They were silent in doing it and obviously knew exactly what they were doing. Nothing on the bike was cut or "wrenched" off it was taken cleanly off with wire harnesses disconnected from under the instrument panel. headlight harness is gone completley. They accomplished this in under 30 minutes. Bike was a Black 04 CBR600rr
If anyone knows of someone in that area or elsewhere that was in need of a front clip for a 01-04 (bike is a 04)and has gotten a "used one" in the last few days please let us know. There are many very distinct feature for the clip that will make it very easy to identify. windscreen is a zero gravity, stock mirrors, flush mount led turn signals.....plus other blemishes and marks that can be identified..........
Offering a reward for the return of the stolen property, and a bigger reward for information leading to the arrest of the theif, and an even LARGER reward for 15-20 minutes alone with said thief before the police.

Do you really have to start a thread every time you go on a ride and see a guy with no helmet on?
Does it affect you that much that some random guy 1500 miles away went and paid his own money for a 1000?
Do we really have to fight over who uses the back brake or not?
Do you have to argue over stupid pointless shit on the Internet?

Yeah the whole thing sucks big. My buddy had just gotten the bike about a month ago, hadn't had a bike in almost ten years. It is just crazy that we were less then 6 feet away on the otherside of a garage door when it happened.
My buddy is one of the nicest guys known to man and I feel soooooo bad. He was actually trying to take up a collection at his tattoo shop to help so I could get a bike. He is in all reality one of them guys that truly would give you the shirt off his back and his last $1.00 just to help a stranger.
If you sorta want to see him and I think the bike, he was on the TLC show while you were out which is airing for the second and last time today at 5:00pm. I am also in the show for about 5 seconds....when we come through the front door after he had been down in Miami that weekend......which was the same weekend I went and picked up the bike for him.
If anyone knows of a wrecked 600rr that we may be able to salvage some parts from please let me know, even if it is just some of the missing wiring from under the speedo and light......just that one harness is expensive.

That's terrible!
Hope they get caught and you get you stuff back.

One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”
