Default help question for anyone

ok here is the deal i bought my bike last week (used) and went to go put the plate on it after registering it of course and there is no place to put a plate. so i did some research on relocation kits and from what i have gathered i would have to buy a new axle. is this true and if so how much do they cost. and are there any other possiblities i could look into. thanks for anyones help.

edit: also if anyone cares but im stoked about it, i picked this bike up got home and found out i was going to be a dad it was a GREAT DAY.

again if anyone cares

congrats on the kid man! Im not understanding why you need a new axle to mount your license plate? Link to relocation kit that suggests this? I'm really confused...

Double congrats to you man, more so about being a dad. There are a million ways to mount your plate, be creative, just don't forget about your tag light. The popo look for reasons....

Congrats on becoming a Father! THat's good stuff right there!

No... you do not need a new axle... some folks mount there plate on a bracket that is connected to the axle... but the bracket replaces the stock adjustmnet peice with one that has a tag bracket.

You do need a little imagination and a couple peices of metal to make a bracket.

Pretty simple stuff.... where you located?
If you want me to show you what I mean, just let me know.

And again, congrats on becoming a father!

I believe when they say "must remove & replace axle" what they mean is remove it, place the tag braket/spacer in place and the re-install your axle.
