Talking Big Red Update - pics on page 2

Went down to BMP today with Johnny & Vic from Exotic Cycle to dail in the Clutch and Shifter.

Only got a couple of passes, but showing signs of progress.

Unfortunately, I still can not lift me leg onto the rear set, so I am not able to ride.

Pass 1 was a shake down... needed more static clutch and less kill on the shifter.

Made a few adjustments and had time for another pass.

Pass 2 was much better... the clutch was spot on and the kill was just about perfect.

With goofing up on the switches, still went 8.8 at 168mph with a 1.44 sixty foot.

They are taking her down to Valdousta, Georgia next week for racing in the 64" street class.

The goal is to break into sub 8.5's and be well into the 170's.

Here are a couple of the worst quality pics ever taken...

Basically

Johnny is dialing it in.

I feel pretty good that the bike is in good hands.

Is Johnny , Vic or Slowe running it ?

Vic rides the captain well but I think Johnny or Slowe can get a slider out better

The slip says: 8.84 @ 168pmg with a 1.44 sixty foot

Assuming the weather holds out, we will get a few more testing runs in today at the TR Track Day.

It just went 8.51 through the 1/4.... getting better.... hoping for a 8.49 or better pass!

It went 5.66 at 137mph through the 1/8th.

And this is without the Multistage Lock-Up... Super Street does not allow multistage clutches, so went dropped a 2-stage in there.

The 60' times are not as good... went from 1.44 to 1.49, but we are getting there!
