Daytona HP Shootout 2006: Place your Bets!
The event is scheduled March 7th thorough 10th, as part of Daytona Beach Bike Week 2006.
Two Questions:
1) Let's see who can guess the closest to this year's Highest HP Motorcycle without going over.
2) Let's see who can guess the type of motorcycle... the more detail the better (Turbo specs.... Nitrous set-up... etc).
Any guesses?

One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

It was a Canadian winner this year with a mere 518hp.
The bike was running a TMH Ultra Kit.

Shamelessly stolen from another site...

This was my first time at the Daytona Bike Week and I must admit, it was a hell of a trip to say the least. I wanted to test my setup at the Dyno Shootout and the results were quite pleasing. Not a bad first run even if my AMS-1000 did not permit more than 30 pounds of boost. Looks like the next step will be to upgrade the AMS for the new version or play with the spring in the waistegate. Still, I was able to stay at the top of the ladder and win the Shootout with a final run of 518.6HP on day four, after pulling a first run of 511.1HP on day three. I'm well aware that other bikes can pull much more power but for my first experience in Daytona, I couldn`t ask for more. I would like to thank Richard Peppler from RCC Turbos for his support and the reliability of his work, without whom, this wouldn`t have never happened. Also a great thank you to the organizers of the event who showed alot of professionalism and made this a memorable week. I also would like to say that you guys (in the USA) know how to party and to live life to it`s fullest
. People were great, women looked really gooooooooooood and I`m already looking forward to next year`s shootout. By the way, she looks good doesn`t she? She's from Canada
